Adriaan Brown connects the commercial and construction sides of Home Construction's projects, turning uncertain, high-risk builds into structured, achievable delivery plans.
With experience spanning estimating, cost management, procurement, project management, and construction delivery, Adriaan has built his career around understanding the full project lifecycle, from general foreman and quantity surveyor roles in South Africa and Wellington, through Senior Quantity Surveyor at Saint-Gobain, to founding and running his own business, Brown & Brown Civils, as CEO for several years. At Home Construction, he works across residential, commercial, civil, fit-out, and development projects, identifying risk, finding opportunities, and improving cost certainty to help project teams make informed decisions. It's work he finds most rewarding when he can step into a challenging, uncertain project and help chart a clear path forward.
He trained in quantity surveying and building at Cape Peninsula University of Technology, and brings both commercial rigour and hands-on construction knowledge to every project he works on.
Outside of work, Adriaan enjoys spending time with his family and getting outdoors, and has a strong interest in property, development, and business, often thinking about new ideas and opportunities even away from the day-to-day construction environment.
