We’re an award-winning, full-service construction company delivering residential, commercial and community projects across Aotearoa New Zealand. Our mission is to drive excellence and innovation in the construction of healthy, sustainable, and quality homes for all.
Keeping people at the
heart of construction
Our story begins in Ōtautahi Christchurch, 2011. In the aftermath of the earthquakes, Home Construction was formed to repair and rebuild homes for thousands of displaced residents. It quickly became clear to us that housing insecurity went beyond natural disasters and our local communities. Across the motu, systemic issues were impacting New Zealanders’ access to affordable, quality housing.
Over the past 15+ years, we’ve partnered with developers, architects, and organisations who share our commitment to quality, collaboration, and care. We deliver end-to-end, tailoring every project to achieve the best outcomes on time, on budget, and to a high standard.
We’re committed to kaitiakitanga and recognise we are stewarding the future of generations to come. That means taking responsibility, within our industry and our communities, for shifting culture and practices to the highest possible standard, so that New Zealand’s homes benefit our customers, our communities, and our planet.

Home Foundation Group
Home Foundation is a charitable trust with a mission to ensure every person in Aotearoa New Zealand has access to a secure, affordable, and healthy place to call home. It works to create lasting change through research, insight, and advocacy.
The Foundation was established using reinvested profits from the success of our construction work. What began with building homes has grown into a broader mission: transforming the housing system through thought leadership, innovation, and tangible impact.
Today, Home Foundation is the legal owner and kaitiaki of a growing network of housing organisations known as Home Foundation Group. Collectively, the Group has experience across the full development life cycle, including investment, housing development, property management, and construction. Each organisation can work independently or draw on the Group’s shared expertise when needed.
Together, we’re working towards a just housing system for Aotearoa New Zealand, where quality homes enable flourishing communities.
